Well, I knew I'd forget something, and as I'm going over my redtop sitting outside, I'm noticing I didn't order radiator hoses from H-T.com or Courtesy Nissan.

Sooo...

1. Are there any commonly available hoses that will fit an SR swap with a JDM radiator(I have a Koyo meant for an SR20DET)?

2. Can my local Nissan dealership order me the hoses? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have it in stock... :)

I saw an Australia Part Number for the hoses in one of the parts guide threads, but I don't know if they'll look at me like crazy if I take the time to go to my local Nissan parts dept. and ask them to order the hoses and have the P/N on hand.

Jacob - who is sure he'll realize he didn't get nearly the amount of stuff he needed the swap gets nearer to completion.

check phase2 or ht for new upper radiator hoses. You can use the lower KA hose on the SR's lower.

My upper radiator hose is the stock upper KA hose. I just kept turning and flipping till I found the right angle and cut it. Here it is:http://www.we-todd-did-racing....D.jpg

Looks like the upper KA hose fit nice with a bit of trimming.

I'm thinking about going with the Blitz upper hose and an OEM lower hose now.

I got sent a Water Temp gauge instead of an Oil Temp gauge by OptionImports and am thinking of just using it and getting an Oil Temp gauge soon(GReddy oilpan so it will be easy to add the Oil Temp later). The car is going to be pushed at open track session quite often, so I figure a Water Temp gauge is a decent thing to have.

The OEM cooling system had some NASTY orange liquid in it and some orange scaly deposits on the radiator hoses and whatnot. I flushed the cooling system with a few gallons of water today to get rid of it, and I think I got most of it out, but I definitely want new hoses. I think they're the original hoses that came on my early Redtop(so '91-92).

The clutch looks almost brand new tho'(OEM Nissan). Clip only had 41k miles on it according to the odometer and an oil service reminder sticker, and I'm tending to believe it based on the clutch and the condition of alot of things. The coolant looks like it has never been changed, or maybe once at most. :(
