How can I tell if I either need a new thermostat, have a leak, or need a newradiator? Any advice would be great!

Get it pressure tested and see if there are any visible leaks.

Kenny, Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I have discovered the leak and it appears to be coming out of the water pump gasket! I have a stupid question, does leaking mean a water pump is typically worn out or is the main problem a sealing problem ala a gasket, what i mean is if you replace the gasket is the leak usually fixed and is replacing the pump necessary if it still works? and do most people replace the water pump even if it is still working? Again, any wisdom is very appreciated! Drew

Had my 2003 Murano pressure tested twice, couldn't find any leaks but guess what? Radiator blew last week. Hole was on back side. Tech said a rock couldn't have hit it. They showed me the radiator, after I had to replace that and the hoses and thermostat. It cost me close to 600.00 for this and I can't believe that the dealership or the local mechanic couldn't spot any problems over a two month period. I have spent almost 1000.00 over the last couple of months and now my heater is still not working all the time and I am not a happy camper!

just had my water pump and thermostat replaced on my KA24DE. Beware though, they are noterious for trapping air pockets which could lead to over heating even after all of your parts are replaced such as what happened to mine. It is probably your best bet to replace the water pump since it doesn't cost that much and use a professional cooling system bleeder or take it to the shop and get it done. just my $0.02
