I've noticed that my radiator coolant is below the minimum line and I've stopped driving the car since then. I have also noticed how my heat is blowing cold air while at a red light but its back to normal when the car is moving . I've searched the forum and got a variety of answers but my question is do I need to get a flush? Or can I just add some coolant to the car? I'm unsure about the type to use as well. I haven't changed nor added anything in to the coolant since I've purchased the car at 35 k about 3 years ago. Now it just hit 61k. The vdc/slip and brake sign have recently come on as well. Sometimes it'll come up and go away and other times it would stay. I got my brakes checked at the dealer about a month ago before the signs appeared and was told that brakes were fine. I have read on this forum the possible fixture for that is adding some brake fluid. Now which brake fluid should I use?

- I have stopped driving my car. Its been 2 days now and I miss it. I've been driving the altima around but it isn't the same as my M. Any help will be appreciated guys thanks! I trust this website more then a dealer or mechanic!

Use any DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid.

As for the coolant, you can purchase a jug of pre-diluted Nissan Long-life blue coolant (part # 999MP – LP25500P) and top off with that. Top off the coolant overflow reservoir to the "MAX" line when cold as well. Run the heater at max for a while then check the coolant level - the heater core might have a pocket of air in it which leads to the lousy heat, or it may be restricted or clogged (in which case either a coolant flush or at least flushing out the heater core would help).

However, at 61k miles and no change yet for the coolant, you are due fora flush. The service schedule says "After 60,000 miles (96,000 km) or 48 months, replace every 30,000 miles (48,000 km) or 24 months." I would suggest getting a flush done at your dealership, and ensure they use blue long life coolant (see this post). You may as well get the brakes flushed too, since brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the atmosphere over time, reducing its boiling point and potentially causing corrosion in the brake system.
