Hey guys, got a '10 m35 base model. Are both fans suppose to come on eventually? The one on the driver's side comes on when the car starts up but the other doesn't come on even with the ac on. I tried to spin a few times, eventually it came on and spun a little but not as fast as the other. and then it stopped again. I only noticed it bc I had to change the upper hose and was bleeding the system. Could it be the motor or the module?

They should spin together, the IPDM only has one PWM input to control both. The fans are DC brushed units, so since the dead one spun a little with help, it's almost certain the fan is bad. The module may be okay, replace the fan and see if they both run normally.

O ok. thanks, appreciate the input. Are all the fan motors the same? Will 06 to 08 work on a 10?

That I don't know, but you can visit InfinitiPartsDeal to find out. Put in your VIN and get the right part number for your fan, then plug in a different MY and see if the same p/n pops up.

Not them again :iconeek . I ordered the hose from them, few days passed and I didn't get a tracking # had to call them. Then I finally see it moving. Came to the post office distribution center and has been stuck there since the 13 or 14... had to file a missing package claim. Eventually had to order another one but from z1 this time.

By the way, condo you have knowledge on the screen display? Mine is blank in the day time and at night it shows a little but only like the border area, the middle is shot. Do I need a replacement from the same yr or any specific for it to work? I sub to edbwoy on YouTube, so I know how to go about taking it out.

N/I uses a couple of different p/n's for displays on a whole lot of models, but treat it like a radio -- match the number you have. That goes for pretty much any electrical or electronics part. Shopping by MMY or appearance will burn your butt at least half the time.

I wasn't suggesting you get the part from IPD, but their database is invaluable. Plug in your VIN and you'll get the right p/n every time.
