Radiator Fan Question?

Ummm.....yeah I think my radiator is supposed to have a fan but for some reason I didn't have one on m y old radiator and it ran fine for years. I am doing a engine replacement and putting in a new radiator. Am I supposed to have a fan on my radiator? THere is a fan on the air condition cooler radiator loking thingy but not on my radiator. I have a 90 240sx KA24E. Do you guys have a fan on yours?

...All 240's come with clutch type fans on the engine. They don't have electric fans on there radiator. They should though. Buy one and put it on. You won't regret it...

all 240s have a clutch fan that runs off the water pump pulley and an electric AC fan thats on the radiator right by the ac compressor and turns on when the ac is on.

you need a fan should of come with a clutch fan but you dont need that hunk of junk go electric, hear that a ford focus fan will fit but dont know for sure

there are many posts about this before... you can do a little rigging and use your condensor fan or you can go to the yard and get around a 95' altima fan and use that or just about any other electric fan for that matter... there is a link to a web site on one of the post that explained all of this and actually tested all these theories so just search a little and youll find the answer zerothread?id=131276
