I know some of you have had to replace it at one point in time. How would procuring one? Junk yard or buy on online?

Was it difficult to replace the whole assembly?

I recommend buying a new one. If you get a used one there is no gaurantee that it is straight. I know they are still available for S14s, not sure for S13s. To replace it you just remove the original by drilling the spot welds. I strongly recommend buying the bit made for this. Then remove the old one. You drill holes in the new core support for spot welds. Then place the new core in place making sure to measure it so that it is in the right spot. Plug weld the holes and paint. It isn't hard.
