I bought this s13 for very cheap for a project car, unfortunatly i have more mechanic experience than body repair experience. I was hoping somone could give me an idea on the cost it would be for me to have a body shop replace the radiator support and the hood ledge. I know no one could give me an exact estimate but a general idea would be nice, i dont know if im looking at under 1000 or im looking closer to 2-3k. Any help is much appreciated. The core support and hood ledge is about 250-300 depending on where i go so im looking for labor costs only. And I know everyone will probably say just junk it or whatever, so save it. Thanks!

I would find another donor car or see if somebody is parting one out. By the time you take that to the body shop and spend 3k+, you could just get another rolling shell and do the work yourself.

My core support was $300 from the dealer (with discount), but thats the only place I could find it. But, it was also for a kouki rad support, not an S13. As far as the hood ledge and fender bends, I dont know. I would think if you took it to a body shop it would be well over $1000. It takes a long time to pop all the welds on the front end. Also dont trust a junkyard, its alot of work and rust is a problem

A welder, and beer is all you need. Find someone parting scraping one and hack the front off.

I guess a holesaw would make it easier and cleaner. I took a chizzle to mine and it took forever. Also it looked like crap and had a hard time getting it flush.
