Radiator core support removal?

Mine is in bad condition, certain things are missing as well. Is this just a bolt on part? Or is there welding/cutting involved in the installation/removal?

That will be a drill/cut/weld process. Get the spot welds out somehow (recommend a drill for that) then square it up and weld the new one in with spot welds in the same places.

Yep, if you're gonna drill, you'll want spot welding drill bits. They'll run 15-20 each for decent bits. If you're going to go with the ones that look like hole saw bits, get a couple of those handy, you'll need them. When you do replace parts of the support, remove as few of those parts as possible. It will make the fit better overall and you'll spend less time drilling and rewelding to make the fit decent.

Also, if you are doing this yourself, heres a tip. Don't drill all the way though the spot welds. drill just enough to get through the core support metal, and not enough to go through the backing metal.
