radiator cleaning???

Is there anyway to get ride of gunk that has some how started to build up in my radiator? I have Koyo aluminum radiator.

nothing, anyone got anything for me besides just draining and refilling????

bring it to a radiator shop and they will clean it with pressurize cleaning agents. or you can get the one from the autoparts store (prestone radiator flushing) and follow the procedure on it.

Run a "flush" additive and only use distilled water when flushing and filling.

The royal purple additive is a great thing to think about when you get all of cleaned out......lowered my coolant temp about 15-20 degrees

where can you find it? and how much does it run about?

I know autozone, pepboys, etc has alot of royal purple products but I'm not sure if they have the "purple ice". I got mine from royal when we were still in business. It runs about $15 for a bottle and a bottle does like 10 flush and fills. I have a used bottle otherwise I'd get you some. Check ebay
