That was quick, figure there would be at least a few post before the don't speed one.. The Versa is not a race car, but must places around here everyone is over the limit at some point.srellim234 wrote:Obey the law and you don't need one.
Yeah, but there's a difference between going with traffic at 5 over and going fast enough to need a radar detector. The saying of cops around here: "Five is fine, nine you're mine."steed77 wrote:The Versa is not a race car, but must places around here everyone is over the limit at some point.
Agree with going with traffic... that is what the Versa is for. It's not a car to wip in and out of traffic with. Here traffic can be 15+ over. when they decide to be out, its like catching fish in a barrel. When they are out... 5 will get you a fine.kc5f wrote:Yeah, but there's a difference between going with traffic at 5 over and going fast enough to need a radar detector. I thought radar detectors where illegal everywhere, I was told that when you get pulled over your just supposed to unplug them.. but that could just be my family saying, "They are a waste of money, you don't need to be speeding anyways. Let alone get in trouble for using one."steed77 wrote:then again... this is VA, the only place Radar Detectors are illegal in the entire country. They just don't play nice in these parts.
As long as you aren't one of those guys driving white Escalades and Denalis that always try and run locals off the road, then we have no problems.sinha0713 wrote:hahaaha im from mass and drive all the time in new hampshire. i guess thats why were called massholes. sorry.
