Q50 Owners,

I just purchased an Infiniti Q50S and I want to add a Radar detector power line? I have done this in numerous cars, but this one is going to be the most challenging to pull off. I typically run power from the fuse box off an empty ignition power fuse slot and dongle the connection with a small bus fuse then tuck the wire behind the dash up to the A pillar and up under the trim and come out just past the sun visor before the mirror. The problem on this car is the fuse box is under the hood, so before I go and run a wire thru the fire wall I wanted to ask if anyone else has found a successful way of doing this?

Easier to just tap power off the rear view mirror. Just google mirror tap, that should get you there

There is a fuse box under the left side of the dash. I simply used the audio fuse blade to connect my Escort there.
