Bought a 2013 M37X in Dec., and my Escort Solo S2 will not work in it. The detector worked great in my 2007 M35, but goes crazy in the new one. Any thoughts?

Don't know what to say to this, I had a issue with my radar detector not working period in mine and it turned out to be a fuse, seeing that's not the case here. Hopefully someone will chime.

Does your 2013 have the lane departure stuff? Perhaps it's somehow interfering?

Did you hardwire your radar detector? Or did you just plug it in to the cigarette light socket or something?

I have had both an STi Driver and a Passport Max 2 in mine, and have not had any issues. Is there a particular band that is falsing?

It's probably due to intelligent cruise, blind spot warning, and/or side sonar. My K40 in my Lexus goes nuts when I'm at my parents and have to move my car to let my mom get her Escape out. As soon as she puts it in reverse and activates sonar, it's freaks my hard wired detector out.

I have the Premium package and Deluxe Touring Package, and it has rear sonar. The Solo S2 uses batteries, no cord. And the X band is the one that goes off.

If its laser alerts then its the on dash screen. I found out by moving it around my car and if its anywhere behind the screen even 1mm it will throw a laser alert. Weird eh?

A simple solution would be to disable X band in the radar detector settings, and re-test. I don't know about your region, but in my region X band has not been used in SMD's for literally decades.
