Mine used to go off (falsely) under heavy throttle applications. Pretty much exactly when you didn't want it going off. I stopped using mine though. Not really enough cop activity in Mississippi or my day to day life to justify the annoying beeping, the cluttering of my windshield/dash/interior, and having to f*** with those god awful suction cups.
