I have a Q70L Hybrid.
Last week the car switched into limp mode, and then refused to move once switched off, the Hybrid System warning light was on, also MIL and nothing else.
The HV battery was full, and the 12V was 12.7V
DTC codes came up:
C118C EV/HEV System
C1A2B Electric Brake
C1A1A HPCM
C1A04 ABS
C1B00 Camera
C1A16 Radar Blocked

Got a tow home, downloaded the FSM for HBC, Hybrid Control System. HBC-93 HPCM diagnosis procedure - completed, all good.
Noticed squirrel guts on radar lense. Cleaned, car started, no DTCs.
Got to be a coincidence?

The C1A2B and C1B00 are the keys to this, basically everything in the car connected to the ADAS controller went down. I don't have the WD's in front of me, but that stuff is all generally on its own CANbus leg. It looks like whatever hit the Radar momentarily paralyzed that leg and caused a cascade of codes in connected devices. The Radar is a system with a lot of inductive components, it's just a guess but I'd say a high-G shock to it while it was operating would certainly have the potential to propagate electronic trash into the rest of the car. The Radar itself going down wouldn't paralyze the car, but the ADAS going down would. I'd make sure there's no wiring damage at the Radar or under the car, but if you don't find anything, it seems likely the whole episode was a transient from the Radar taking a whack.

Great Advice, thanks a lot. I checked the radar, connectors, and found damaged wires. I repaired and all good now. However, the 12V battery resting volts has dropped down to 12.05V. Start the car, and it goes back up to 14.4 from the DC/DC converter (I checked that too).
So, suspect that the wiring damage might have shorted enough to drain the battery, not enough to fuse.
Battry on order (note: can't get the original spec battery, so use a Bosch 12V 72Ah, to the right geometry size in its place)

Thansk again for your help and advice!

You're most welcome, glad you're getting it straightened away without too much trouble and expense. Happy motoring!
