Hi,I'm having trouble installing a boot on a 97 maxima. How far does it have to go up? I put on a lock tie but it keeps sliding down. Its the passenger side. Does it sit flush at the end or go over the lip?

Sorry for the delayed response - I think he's actually looking for info on the rack & pinion boots and not the CV boots.
