Anyone w/a beneficial response?

Brian, i ask you kindly, pleadingly, PLEASE; ignore my posts & i will return in kind. Ya just never have anything really relative.

I'm sure you're a brilliant guy, a degree in kinesiology or something as important to life. However it just seems you go outa your way to be the ............... So, what do you say? We strike an agreement here & now to just go on like neither exist.

I'm just trying to restore an old car to the best of my abilities & you are NOT HELPING!

No response would be the best.

Thank you Brian, i knew you would understand.

No effect, IMO. Unless of course the car was aligned with the rack all crooked?

Actually this answer seems correct. If the rack bushing were worn enough so the rack could move around, the alignment would probably not be accurate.

What condition were the rack bushings before replacement?

If 11 pounds of force applied to the steering wheel causes +-0.08 movement of the rack then its time to replace per the FSM.

Caster and Camber would not be affected.
