when replacing rack and pinion do i need anything extra besides my inner outter tierods and alignment i got that under control thanks for your opinion its well appreciated

Boots, any bad hoses (usually the one from reservoir to rack), rack bushings (I prefer SPL polyurethane).

M1 ATF and one 7 oz. bottle of BG Power Steering Conditioner.
