hey guys i want to replace my power steering rack and pinion in my 95Q has a leak. i was wondering if anyone can give me advice on how to make this and easy or ok operation...advice is well appreciated

Follow proceedure in FSM and remember you will need a reliagnment due to impossibility of getting toe correct without an alignment machine.

Why did you abuse rack by not changing PS fluid regularly? Before you replace rack try 1/4 of a small bottle [3-4-5 ounces] of Lucas Power Steering leak stop. In about 33% of cases this will swell seals enough to stop leak without damage thanks to your being in a warm climate.

Besides the Ni$$an rack, Joe sells the Meridian rebuild. I got a Maval on mine that works well so far after 3 months.

If you use M1 ATF, also use a bottle of BG Power Sterring Conditioner for the seals.

I think hadbody put a cooler on his PS system, and there is one that may be adapted from the Z32. Most needed in hot urban environment.
