I need to replace my rack and pinion, i have a 93 q45. Do I get with or without evo?

thats the options i was when ordering a rack and pinion..have no idea what the EVO is.

If they ask that option I would recommend you find another place to buy the rack from.

For a non OEM, lower cost option, you might look at this guy:

A few other folks here have used them and been happy, and he's got good feedback on E-Bay (although most of those customers are not Q owners).

I bought my rack and pinion w/evo component. Turned out to be an exact match. Evo component seemed to be some sort of driver steering assist. Insteed of getting inner tie rods for $90 a pop plus cost to boots and who knows what, i replaced the whole thing for $325.
