Hey, I'm thinkin of buying a y pipe for my coupe, and was wondering if anyone had some input on it, any problems they had, did any sensors go off, etc., or good things to say. I do have a K & N intake on the coupe, other than that it's pretty much stock. Any info would be great, thanks.

Input? BUY IT. I actually have the K&N Typhoon myself. Had the Y pipe installed before I put the intake in and immediately felt results, moreso than after the addition of the intake. Gives our cars the nice G35 growl as well. No problems, the cat that it deletes is not monitored so no sensors trip. Personally I think this should be high on everyones mod list. Highly recommend it.

I have heard many members rate the Y-pipe as a best buy. Dyno gains around 10 HP and 13 Tq. I found out after buying my cat-back or I would have purchased it first. You might want to look into the VIAS delete plate to go with it.

I actually posted a thread about VIAS delete here, it got shot down pretty quick. I didnt know much about it but my friend was selling his from his sedan. Apparently it shows high end gains in HP but DESTROYS low end torque.

Sorry - I had to. lol

Yes - the Y-Pipe will work with the Stillen Axle-back.
