I just installed my Racingline strut bar. I have not drove the car enough to see if the strut bar makes any difference in handling. I don’t expect it to make much difference by itself. If it will stiffen the front end then it will help with the other suspension mods I am planning to do. A few notes on instillation.
You need a jack under the car. This will help you align the threaded holes so you can get the bolts in. Put the bolts for the brackets in holes two and three first. I found I had to use a Dremel tool to open up the hole in the bracket for bolt # one, so it would thread in. I did not have to open it much, maybe a 1/16 of an inch.
The only other glitch was getting the last bolt to go through the bracket and strut bar. I had attached one end of the strut bar, and was trying to get the bolt through the bracket and bar on the other end. I had to use a large Phillips head screw driver to get the hole in the bracket and the bar to align. At least I know that there is no slack in bar assembly.
