I installed it yersterday. There is many things I want to address. I will start with the good stuff. It performs very well. I love the way the car now handles. The stock RSB is like comparing a straw with a pen. The only thing is that I wish someone made a more detailed description on how to install it since I made a couple of mistakes. Specially the instructions from the manufacturer should tell you exactly what tools to use since I dont have any tools and I had to go twice to autozone to buy the correct ones (many people said 17 mm and 19 mm, but that didnt work for me, only 5/8, the extension, ratchet, jack, jackstands).

I did took some pictures that I will post later.

What I totally didnt like was that after I installed it, the links wouldnt connect to the bar since the holes where not big enough and I had to take it down again and drill them a little bit bigger. I am very surprised Racingline didnt double checked that.

added 9/21: Handling wise, you get a lot of mechanical grip. Even more than the front strut bar. The front strut gives precision when you turn. But the RSB gives it much more. I have OEM everything (donut tires, 17 inch wheels) even then I can feel a huge difference (that you perceive on everyday driving if you are a moderate/aggressive driver). It does make the rear a stiffer but not uncomfortable. You just get that sensation of responsiveness. It even helps you turn better. I think because the car leans less and therefore it does not transfers much weight to the rears, it redistributes it to the fronts (traction). My tires dont make as much noise on the same turns going faster. I think it made the car from understeer to a tendency of oversteer (or at least less understeer, if oversteer is an overstatement).

im not sure that was a good idea

i dont have this but it should have been a bolt on, with no need of modification.

The holes should not have been small but I will double check the remaining stock to ensure nothing is wrong and warn anybody who has already ordered theirs.

If something is wrong, let me tell you the benders are going to get alot more than an ear full for BS like that after making wait almost 10 weeks for these to come out.

As for drilling the holes out slightly, it will not effect the integrity of the part in any way.

Remember to post the pix! I'm a future buyer, so would like to research on installation before I buy

Let me see if I can post pics (Ive never done it). But if you go to stillens webiste, on the sway bar for altima coupe, they have a PDF file with good instructions. If you read those and others that have been posted, they will help you. Its really not hard, but then again, you want to be able to have everything you need to buy it, install it, and enjoy it.

I dont know if its an official thing where all of Racinglines sway bars came like that (first batch) or just mine, or we will see. Its not hard to correct the proble either. [IMG][/IMG]

Apparently I know how to post pictures. Well here is the thing I had to redrill (I believe it was a 3/8 drill bit) you drill the bar against the piece of wood so you dont damage the floor. And you keep doing it side to side, in circular movements and then after that you have to use the tool on the middle of the picture (dont know how its called in english). You do it by hand to even it out until you are able to fit the bolt in to the bar with no problem. Once this is done, then you install it like everyone else says.

Also, here is the bar with one hole like it came from the factory, and the other finished one.

it didnt seem like a sophisticated grease. Ask racingline if they can ship you one or what grease that you could buy at a regular parts store can substitute for. I think any kind of grease would do. But I am no expert. I did receive mine but the box was slightly opened where I can see how it totally would of fallen out.

Has someone had a problem installing the bar too?

it does because its adjustable. so depending on which set of holes i choose (inner or outter) it will determine how stiff the set up will be
