i never really understood why battery ties are so expensive... they START at 30 and go to like 80ish or more...

Why are A/V cables so expensive.... pure profit. They can get away with charging it so they do.

30$ is reasonable for the part considering it's machined aluminum... nothing I'd be interested in though. 80$ though? for a part that does NOTHING for the car? Crazy.

It's mostly the machining costs. i can get you a plain square aluminum plate for $10 if that's better :p

but yes they are for the most part purely cosmetic. They are stronger than stock, look better and will not corrode. But as far as overall function........eye candy. Great for guys that go to shows and stuff or people that like to paint engine covers.......

there was an update less than 3 working days ago...........

in any event they are being anodized and laser engraved right now and Im just waiting for the call to pick them up. may be tomorrow may be wednesday, but it will be soon. all paper work and assembly pieces are ready, the day I have them is the same day they will be out by UPS as promised.

anodizing also increases surface hardness, whether or not that's a benefit

surface hardness and corrosion resistance..............2yrs from now take a cloth to them and they will still look clean and newish. They will not build any corrosion, even is northern winters and salty roads.

Anodizing also helps reduce corrosion. I also think it looks better than paint... at least on my mountain bike. Gold ano!

Well I jumped on that group buy like a coloured guy all over a white girl (relax I am a coloured guy). My order was in on the first set of front endlinks but mine shipped with my rears so I don't have my rears yet. Joe did let just know about the delays and back orders.

I order the fronts a few hours after the first 15 people ordered theres.

An ignorant person would be led to believe you would want to be called that term or else why would you use it.

Its just best to leave these types of comments/jokes aside and focus on the fact that McHedaddi is cooler than all of us because hes got endlinks and speaks french
