You follow the instructions... that's how i did it. You shouldnt have problems except tapping the wires on the A pillar because i was very confused on that part. You should call Bill he would help you.

this was my first ever mod on a car and i had no prior experience dealing with disassembling electronics, etc. The whole process took me like 3 hrs throughout a series of 2 days lol but i did it.

the instructions are actually pretty easy once you look at them over and over again.

the hardest step for me was linking the wires, namely the front footwell wires to the back footwells (not sure if you got the back ones though).

also, if you dont wire correctly, what happened to me was that the fuse on the kit that tapped into the A-pilalr wires kept on burning out cause I connected the wrong wires together. I went through like 10 fuses until I got it all to work.

have you taken out any of the interior yet? have you done any of the installation? Are you stuck on a specific step?

What you should do is take the instruction and find the pictures for your model year ONLY, and CROSS OUT the other pictures. IT makes it a TON easier. Read the written instructions and then while ur in your car find the parts they are talking about using the pictures for your vehicle. Take your time and it is very simple. If you have any problems call/email Bill at RacingLine and he does a great job at getting back to you, and helping you out over the phone if you need it.

I can email my simplified instructions if anyone needs them, I basically only left what coupe owners need to do on the instructions, for the front footwell lighting with a switch kit..

Hey B, you ever thought about making some led strips that sits under both side skirts (shining out wards of course ) that functions just like the footwells?

Look at my sig pic...Those are 72" strips that fire straight down and work exactly like the footwells(they are on a separate switch). There are also the lights I have put under the doors...those allow courtesy (step) lights for all 4 doors, and only work when the doors open. There are pics of all of it on my Cardomain page.

Unfortunately, I have never made either of the above as kits. The footwell kits were just one of those things that 'happened'. A guy saw them on my car and asked if I could walk him through the install because he was not real comfortable doing it himself. From there, the first installation manual was made, and I figured out that if the whole wiring harness was built for someone, the install became 1000x's easier. The kit has evolved into what you recently received...what I feel is a well designed and built wiring harness, 'enough but not too much light', and a pretty easy to install system overall.
