I have an automatic right now and hopefully getting the 5-spd conversion sometime. But until then...is there a way i can launch at higher rpm's?Also should i race with the overdrive on or off??? thanks..

Almost all Auto's perform best if u just leave it in D and smash teh pedal hard.

Torque braking will give u a biut extra but is also kinda hard on the transmission.

the torque convertor stalls at 1800rpm so u can power brake up to that. unless u have decent work done to ur 240 i would keep OD off. when i was at the track with od off i got up to maybe 4500-5000rpms at the end with it on it might shift and slow u down
