I'm looking for a wheel in 15x7 in 4x4.5 bolt pattern with a low (~23) offset for my 240sx race car. This is a full blown SCCA Improved Touring "S" race car that will never see the street.I'm hoping to find something under 13lbs and under $300 a wheel...the lighter the better. I'm having a hard time finding something...please help.

Thanks,Tim[email protected]

Go here and sort by size. Then, call the manufacturers and see what offsets/lug patterns they come in and then check around for the best prices. BTW, have you looked into Rota?;)

I would rather stick a hot p0ker in my eye than use a Rota wheel on the track again!:D

Buddy Club adn Kosei don't have a wheel in a 20mm offset...not even Racing Hart has them...looks like custom for me.

OZ Superleggera. I don't know what offsets you can get them in, and you may have to look at doing a 5 lug swap if you want to have any respectable selection of wheels. I know that will be the wheels that I swap the Z wheels off for when I've got the dough. Ofcourse, I still don't have the 5 lug swap done yet, or my brake upgrade, or the new tires for the Z wheels. Hmmmmm I need some more dough flow yo.

Why do you want the offset so low?

You may want to contact Luke at Tirerack directly to get a good answer on those Koseis. I know in 16x7.5 they have them in a +22mm offset. But you said 15's... Just a little story, 2 days ago, I called tirerack twice trying to find out wheel sizes in Kosei K1's. The first guy refused to tell me what sizes they were available in and said the widest I can go on a 240 is 7.5"...yeah right. Then the second guy told me that K1's were discontinued in anything wider than 7.5". What the... So I sent an email to Luke at tirerack and suprise, suprise; kosei k1 racings are still available in 16x8.5". Not only that, but they offer a plethora of offsets and they're all blanks so lug patter is not a conern. Anyway...back to the thread...

Also, have you though about spacers?

Spacers are never the best idea for a race car. They can cause more stress on the stud leading to premature failure...a lot of people still use them, but it's not the *best* solution. I need a low offset to get the wheels clear of the coilovers. In a race car, you need to run lots of camber in the front, and without at least a 23 offset, they will rub.I found Team Dynamics in a 21 offset for like $120/wheel...may go with them.

Did you call/write luke?
