Racing Stripes on the A/C?

OK, I searched for a thread on this but could not find one.

Anybody else out there contemplating viper style racing stripes on the A/C? I keep thinking that this would look pretty cool and flow really nice with the rear lines of the coupe. Anybody up for a photoshop mockup? I am thinking either black or slate grey stripes on my precision grey A/C.

I know it was a big thing here years back. Rather than painting your car, you could just buy wide vinyl tape from a sticker shop to make your stripe. If you really like the look, you could have it painted.

Just to be clear, I am referring to the wide striping that goes from hood to trunk over the roof of the car and not the "go faster" stripes on the side of the vehicle. I see a lot of modern cars with this look (usually vipers, mustangs and such). I don't think I was clear in my original post. Soz.

Yup, that's what I meant too. You can use vinyl tape however wide you want it. I believe I used a 10" stripe on my car.

This type of stripe, right? You can use tape and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Cool, I dig the zebra look. Let me know how it comes out. Oh....and post some pics.
