Hey, I'm sure you guys have seen these rims before. They are extremely light weight and they look awesome. I want to get them in 18x10 for my 240sx when I get the 5 lug conversion and skyline brakes.... What tire size will fit? I will have a wide body kit on the car so the 18x10's wont be too wide . ..

that actually a bit too wide aries....

I would run a 295-35(or 30)-18. or even a 285-30-18. That would give you decent rolling diameter, a wide contact patch. I dont know why everyone wants such wide wheels though.-chet

Okay, well will someone make up their mind? lol. I want to get wide rims only because I will have a wide body kit . . + it also gives you a wider contact patch and more traction . . which companies actually make that tire size? I would prefer Falken or Yokohama's . . . unless you guyz know a better tire out there. I checked and I dont think Azeni's (my favorite tires) come in those sizes . .or do I just have to call them and ask for that application since it's so rare to have that size?

in those sizes all you'll find are top-of-the line tires, like AVS sports, Pzero, S-03, etc....ANd a wider contact patch does not equal more grip necessarilly.-chet

I think they're the lightest 18 inch rims out there, and if they're not . . then they are the lightest 18" rims out there that look good. I can get them for $600 a piece, total of 3200, plus tires...

Well, I'm not sure of any "physical" shops that sell those rims, but Takakaira might be willing to lower the price for us if we do a group buy . . since they're about 675 ea. on the site...

oh man goshoryuken, so are you gonna buy thoes rims before you get the 4400$ discontinued jdm body kit with 1400$ fender flares and the 800hp rb26 swap, or afterwards? or what about that r33 you are gonna get imported and legalized?

at least you want to do some performance mods with that body kit... Quote »Not to mention . .the body kit is full functional and purpose full. It has brake vents, a lot of space for air to flow in and out to cool al vital parts.. its not just made to look good .. it's functional!!![/quote]
