I tried to make brackets to fit my racing seats, by utilizing the old stock runners. However, my seats sit too high if I do. I would make straps but the transmission tunnel sides seem to get in the way. Anyone know of a forum on here or another website that may have step by step pics. Or maybe one of you has made your own. I dont want to have to go with different seats, these are carbon fiber! Thanks

Sounds like they are bottom mount?

Pretty much every bottom mount seat will sit higher than stock. You'd have to hack away A LOT of stuff to get a bottom mount to sit even the height of stock... and it probably wouldn't be very safe.

Your only chance is to get side mount seat w/ appropriate rails.

If you have sidemount, then try using a Bride FG or Nagisa/NAMS super-low rail. Those w/ a bucket seat will sit lower than stock.
