Racing schools

Are there any decent racing schools here in Florida. I've tried looking on Google, but haven't really found much. I'm interested in learning and practicing autocross. I'd like to learn it from professionals instead of practicing out on my own.

Good luck finding one out there, I live in California and there are plenty of places, only problem is you need at least $1,000 to get started. Some places are half that but there are so many restrictions its pointless. The reason most of them are so expensive is because of the insurance, and most tracks don't want Joe Smith Public to go out and kill themselves on their track. If you want to get some track time, seek out some clubs that have "trackdays".

BMW has a club and I think its like $40 to join, they will most likely reserve a day at a track near you 1st people who get to drive on the track are BMW owners but if any slots open up, you might be able to get a chance.

You could also look up the local tracks in the area for "street legal" events where they allow you to bring your car and drag race it against other cars that have current registration.

Or you could challange all those idiots who say "Take it to the track!!" when you say "Where are some good places for street racing?"... although those people seem to drop out of conversations when you ask them "what track?"

now i don't know about florida but i know that batlground in atl. has an open track weekend at turner field i think. its open to anyone that wants to drive and its like 20 bucks. so if you are serious about that take a trip to the atl. and you are tellin me that no place around like daytona has a driving school for that. well good luck.-banks-

Have you searched on google? Cuz i did a search about 5 months ago, and i think i did see one Florida.
