I've purchased "racing" pedals in the past, but only for aesthetics. Real racing pedal are bare metal pedals will holes drilled through them to cut down on unnecessary weight. In the real world, most time, these are a waste of money. Racers don't have to deal with stepping on wet pavement and getting into the car. Your feet get wet and you put it on this metal surface and your feet will slip more than the stock pedal. If you're going to buy some, make sure you buy the ones with the non slip rubber pads. The slipons are everywhere on ebay for cheap. You could always mock up some yourself. I haven't seen any true replacements yet.
