This weekend has been f-in awesome!

On Friday, we all went out to Barrett (as usual) It was actually cool cuz all in one area there were two WRX STi's, an '02 WRX, a Supra, and a Porsche Carrera. I got to ride in one of the STi's! (Holy sh**, I'm in love!) Then after chillin there for a while, we went to Hooter's. After we were done eatin, Corey suggested that we go up to Moreland Ave. (downtown ATL...anything ending with "Avenue" is pretty hardcore ghetto) Everyone's a little weary, cuz he was the only one who had been there. So it's about 1:30am at this point, and Moreland's about a half hour away.David didn't want to take his 240, so we all piled in the back of the Super Duty and Jon and a few others went in the Cutlass.

When we get there...everyone is just like..."whoa". In this huge parking lot, hundreds and hundreds of cars (mostly hoopties) and people were driftin and doin burnouts like there was no tomorrow. And there was a drag strip set up with just people up and down both sides...it was insane. We couldn't believe that this was happening, since in our sheltered town cops will yell at you for revving. The police were just driving by all night, they could have cared less!

There was a f-in fast Datsun 510, but other than that, all the fast cars were Integras. Then, Justin breaks out the turbo deisel...I don't think anyone knew what to think about this big a** red truck that could go so fast. We killed two Integras, a quick a** S10, and a couple others. Jon even ran his Cutlass against a Firebird and whooped him. There were Crown Vics with blue & redlights who we decided were probably off-duty cops doin runs.

It was amazing. Barrett is just lame now, even though on Saturday when we were there for a little while, I saw an S13 Silvia...SO freakin beautiful. T63-1 turbo...whoa.

Damn, I can't wait to get my car goin now! :D

I know. My ex had a 4 cyl, with a 4" body lift and was about to stack a 6" Fabtech...on 35's, then eventually 39.5's...oh, and can't forget the shot of nitrous!

The thing was ridiculous. It won't be able to turn 39.5's...a V8 is a truck IMO...

My dad has a 2001 Ford F-350, the last year with the 7.3L Turbo diesel (changed to, IMO, a lame 6.0.) His is a dually and its stock, but at one time he got some kind of ECU chip, you could change it 10, 25, 50 HP settings. It is amazing how much Ford detuned those trucks, even the 10HP changes everything about the truck. I dont know what kind of device it was, he sold it to a friend because he knew I would always switch it up when I drive lol. Of course the diesel is all about low end torque ;) My dream truck my dads truck but black and not dually heh

we should all take you to the beating tree for that:)

the 4 cylinder tacoma, for the longest time was the fabled 22R in one variation or another.

easily in the 10 of the best motors ever built.

They made turbo versions from the factory that could take 19PSI daily on the stock internals.

I think it's probably the cheapest import motor to rebuild as well, I can't remember seeing one cheaper.

I'd love to have a 22RE or more so the 22RTE Pick up or 4Runner.

little trucks are still trucks none the less.

you know you want a turbo Toyota pickup with bigger tires and raised suspension that just screams "jump me, abuse me, bruise me but don't ever stop":D

Mr1der is right about the 22RE. A masterful package.

I'm offended about the Taco comments.. although strut front suspension and rack & pinion steering are not exactly hard core. But mine is V6 and has had many different suspensions and tire combos to help fine tune the best ride/handling/response from such a truck.

I would never heavily modify a modern Toyota. Now give me a solid axle super duty and we'd be getting somewhere..

Oh, my work trucks are F450's. One is V10 w/manual, the other is the new F450 diesel w/auto. That thing scoots.

I dunno, I really dig the TRD models.

I want a TRD Tundra something fierce, so cool looking...

hope factory paint on them sucks, I'd have it destroyed quick anyway...

yeah, probably.

they're really cool, but lack in towing power.

arguably one of the best 4x4's ever made.

you should get one! and make it way cooler then his!
