The G ran a 14.501 @ 98.110. I had a crappy 2.346 60'.

There were 4 of my buddies from the Hemi Ram club out there. Their trucks were all running 7-5 tenths slower then usual. I'll have to get the DA to correct the time but I was very happy. I beat a Misubishi Evo and a old Chevy truck that was running 15.5's.

My fav part is when I spin the tires from a roll moving from the burn out box to the tree :-)

I used to do that with my Hemi!

Nice work Jeff! I may have to come out and take a run with you sometime... how often do you run out there? I think i'll wait 'til I get the wife to sign off on the Stillen Gen 2 exhaust and see if I can bump those numbers! I'm laying the groundwork with the CFO (Wife) right now to invest in the Stillen exhaust... I went this weekend and bought new patio furniture and washer and dryer for her, so that should grease the wheels when I order the exhaust... I did treat myself to an early birthday present this weekend by ordering the 3M clear bra from ebay. There's a company on ebay that sells pre-cut 3M bras for the G35 for ONLY $165.00!!!!! Every where I went to get this installed wanted over $800.00 for the clear bra... I'm going to have to install it myself so that will require some patience, but well worth the savings! I may have to call on you guys for advice on installation!

Man that exhaust is going to be sweet! I am not going to change anything else on mine.

I used to go once a month when I had my hemi ram. This was my first run with the G. A bunch of my buddies from the Hemi club were out there. They have trucks that run 14.3'2 and 14.7's and they were running 15.2's and 15.7's. Weather and track prep were both very bad.

Sunday I ran up to Out of Africa in Cottonwood with the family. On the way home I got to play with a Porsche Boxster S and newer Vetter. That was fun, we were taking those turns on the hill down into Black Canyon city at 100-110 mph! The Vette would run away from the Porsche and I on the straights but we'd catch him in the corners. On one corner the Porsche was on my butt and the Vette was next to me. The Vettes tires started to squeal I was thinking 'stay in your lane'!

The Hemi Club is going to rent Speed World one Wednesday night and have a GTG there. Anyone is welcome but the night won't be advertised so we should be able to get in a lot of runs. A modified single cab Hemi ram will beat/keep up with a 07 G35 on the motor. Most of these boys run some nitrous and are able to pull a 12 second 1/4 mile in good weather. Not bad for a 5,000 lb truck. I'll post the info for the Speed World night once we get a date and pricing. It may be as much as $40 per person depending on head count but if there are only 20-30 vehicles out there and your running every 2 min its worth it imo!

Sweet deal, Jeff!

Let me know next time you roll out there, I haven't been to SpeedWorld since it was Phoenix Raceway Park (1989)!

Yeah man Arizona is a nice place to live 8 months out of the year. We get 4 months of 100-125 degree weather that sucks! I'm a native so it doesn't bother me as much as the transplants. We do have two 1/4 mile tracks in town and one in Tucson about 2 hours south.

Our December - February are awesome racing months. Some nights you can have temp in the mid-low 50's and 0% humidity, the air is so dry. On those nights the DA actually ends up being below sea level. LA, FL and TX have a couple tracks that you end up with a positive DA during the late winter. Anyway I'm hoping to get out to the track a couple weeks after Christmas on a night when the air is cold and dry. Should be able to get a mid 13 second slip to post.

By then I'll have shorter fatter tires so I should trade some top end for acceleration and traction. I sold a set of Nitto 555 drag radials 275/40/17 to one of my buddies right after I bought the G. I'm wishing I would have kept them!
