Just a quick FYI to those that had emailed over the last couple weeks. The Racingline Y pipe is now back in stock.

http://www.racinglineperforman...egory=

Specially made using full stainless steel construction, this performance Y Pipe is dyno proven to see gains of 13hp and 14ft/lbs to the wheels on an otherwise stock vehicle!! By enlarging the primary runners and collector, removing a tight crimp in the factory piping and deleting the 3rd unmetered catalytic converter, lots of extra power is created.

Although this pipe deletes 1 of the 3 stock catalytic converters, no SES/CEL lights are triggered. The catalytic converter being removed is not metered and the cars ECU does not realize it is missing.

This pipe is a complete bolt on replacement to the stock unit. No additional modifications are necessary and the car (in proper running condition) will still pass all known USA & Canada tail pipe smog tests.

Be sure to check if your state (California for example) does visual inspections for smog tests. If there's a deviation from stock then you need CARB exemption paperwork to pass (assuming the shop actually does the inspection). I'm guessing there's no CARB exemption for this y-pipe.

No these are not.... thus the **Off road use only** designation on our website

Removing a cat is technically illegal 99% of the time, whichthis pipe does. ( delete 1 of 3 existing cats)

I'll rephrase the writing above to say "Will pass all know tail pipe emissions tests"

just curious, since we are from the forums and when we call up to order the y-pipe, will there be any extra discounts included, or will we have to pay the regular price with the shipping fee???

there is no forum discount unfortunately.

The way we see it is that we only market here on the forums so we try to give you guys the best price possible already. Since there is no distribution chain you are buying direct from the manufacturer so to offer a discount would only serve to say that the prices are already artificially inflated just so we could give a discount.

-adjustable Camber / toe arms

correct toe/ camber setting from lowering a vehicle. Are also completely adjustable to dial in your own settings for track use. Will use polyurethane bushings instead of the OEM rubber type, which will resist deflection and provide for greater handling. Although admitted the A/C is still pretty new and the oem rubber wont be that worn just yet, but it will still be an improvement

-under body chassis bracing

Stiffens the chassis to resist flex while cornering, mush like a strut bar does.

-Traction rods

Attach to the frame and control arm to stop the control arms from deflecting under hard launch situations. The deflection caused creates wheel hop in a front wheel drive car which is very bad for the car and your times at the track. Similar to ladder bars used on RWD cars, but alot simpler to install and not as intrusive to ground clearances on street cars.

-intake

self explanitory

-custom Radiator shroud

This is a carbon one in the pic http://image.turbomagazine.com...d.jpg

but it basically surrounds the rad on top to give the car a "finished" look and also help make sure you don't touch any hot hoses. but mostly it's a dress up item.

Ill second that, thanks to everyone at RL including Joe for their support. My Y-Pipe sounds great and was easy to install besides the thread on the pre exhaust stripping and needing a tap to put the bolt back on

Any info on the intake? A cheap CAI I may be interested in to replace my Fujita. Just dont want to spend $300 for it.

Taz,

Not sure of the possibilty or the r/d involved, but how about Test Pipes???

Im sure it's been asked. But test pipes/y-pipe/exhaust would be pretty nasty for the coupes...

we are working on high flow pre-cats for the 3rdgen right now... depending on how they work out I'll make sure to look into the coupes/4th gen. Don't expect anything soon though. More likely to see something along those lines next spring

2.5 doesnt have a y pipe because it is just one stright pipe coming down from the engine bay.(hearders)

3.5 has a 2 headers which goes down to the car making 2 pipes. which is then combined into 1 pipe and that gives you your y pipe.

correct me if i am wrong

So I just ordered mine, says it was shipped yesterday and will arrive next Tuesday, can anyone comment on the time it took you to get yours? Although I guess living down in Texas and using FedEx ground didn't help, haha.

Most packages arrive in 5-6 business days since Racingline is in Canada. International shipping unfortunately does take a few days longer than normal domestic shipping
