I raced a 2g AWD Talon with a T3/T4 on 14psi from 30-speed limiter last night. He had 2 passengers, I had none. My mods are just an SR, FMIC, full 3" exhaust, still on stock boost. Somehow I kept up with him, we were side by side until I hit the speed limiter.

I was expecting to be dusted by him, but that wasn't the case. The T3/T4 is only a 50 trim and I don't know the rest of the specs, so it could be a very mean 50 trim. How I actually kept up is beyond me.

Because they are heavier (if its awd) and he had 2 passengers and was only runnign that 50 trim on 14psi....

50trims are most efficient from like 19-24'ish psi and if tuned right will make almost any car haul nutts....

from a 30mph rolling start he basically loses his awd advantage so his weight disadvantage takes over plus the extra 300+ of people weight

Yeah, that's Mike that you described. I'm sure he has a lot more mods than just a T3/T4, you don't just bolt one on and go. Besides that, those are some MASSIVE brakes on there. Next Saturday should be really fun seeing how fast people really are.

Yeah at 14lbs it had to be slow as piss. Consider yourself saved by the grace of god..... Also consider that he is about 3400lbs. Good job with the BPU car, I think the little t too small help you alot on this.

Yeah, Ewater opens on the 28th from noon to 5pm. This will be my first time at this track since I've only lived here for 5-6 weeks. I also realise that he was probably pushing around 3,400lbs with 2 passengers, probably even more. Those cars weigh around 3,100lbs in AWD trim. Mike probably weighs around 180-200, he had one normal size chick (130ish at most, probably less), and the other dude was probably around 150lbs. So a wild guess is around 3,600lbs, almost 900lbs more weight than me and my car. I have a base model coupe, almost no gas at the time, and I weigh 130lbs.

I'm 5'3" unfortunately, but it helps for racing. I bench 170lbs though.
