Well it wasn't me who personally raced the Maxima, it was my fiance, but i was the passanger. It also wasn't my car, as you can tell by my name i have QX4, and it is quite slow!:D Well it was last night in my fiance's 03 Spec V, and after making a right turn on to Jericho tpk for those who live around here, my fiance hit on it a little bit and we passed a 99 Maxima. So of course the kid comes flying up behind us. So at the next light we ended up next to each other and the kid kept inching up like he wanted to race. So i looked at my fiance and he smiled so i knew he was gonna race this kid! The light turns green and the race began! Well to make a long story, we beat him, and probably embarassed the kid, he had a friend with him! I know the Maxima is still a nissan and sorry to all those Maxima owners out there ;) ,but this kid looked like a punk so...:D But let me tell you the Spec V sounds so nice after 5 thousand rpms! And only with an AEM cai! Sorry for the long description, but i just wanted to share that with everybody! :D

What year was the Maxima? I bet it was an automatic too. Maxima's are really quick for what they are though, dont underestimate them. Nice kill though! ;)

it's fun busting jackasses on interstate type places, even better when it's on tape, kinda like this idiot in a Jetta who acted like he was gonna do something, running about 70 or so on the 285 in Atlanta he starts goosing it or something beside me (sporting the apc logo on the car no less), so I threw it in 4th and punched, I don't think he made much of an effort to keep up...

perhaps you should carry a camera with you when you ride at all times, makes for fun memories:)

nice kill i guess. maxima are quick if you driving alone...but if you have passenager with you that whole different story. Hey there's nothing wrong with and automatic. i have and automatic i30 and i don't seem to have a problem giving a beat down every now and than.
