Raced a friend and his 350z

So after getting my new tires on, BFG KDW's, we decide to race. Since my car doesn't have any go fast parts yet (only built internals for turbo. lower compression prob making less power atm) we wondered who had better handling. My Tein NA damper kit (s-tech springs and shocks) sway/strut bars, and tension rods did alot better than I thought.

There is this really nice road thats almost always empty we went to. First few corners he was right on my ***, waiting for me to go faster. Since this was the first time I had actually 'driven' the car I was bit timid, and taking the corners horrible. But about a min later when we were at the last few corners, I went all out.

On the final turn my tires broke loose for just a second, but then gripped in good. I was very surprised to see him a few car legnths behind me when I looked back. He claims he was letting off, but I know I got him for now, at least around the corners

Even tho it may have been driver rather than car.

I was behind an S14 trying to lose me (in my 350) on a tight dark road he knew well and i didnt.

He wasnt able to put any significant distance bewteen us. even as I kept back a few carlenghts for safety ( didnt wanna run into him).

For some reason when I read this I see a cartoon.Oh you inside a gopher hole and the honda backs up to the hole with the fart pipe and starts revving. thus of courrse ricer has messed up rings prior and smoke is pouring out into your hole and you come running out.

Well his graduation gift was a week long racing school, so I know he can drive better than me. He also knows the road a bit better because its next to his house. Either way though, I love my 240!
