So, it just gone done with a short drizzle. The roads were moist and slick, what better time to go out for a slide!? I'm out cruising for a while and after a couple silent slides, I see a real nice viper. I'm at a red light and see him pull on to the road I was on. The guy obviously had a lead foot. I was about 4 cars behind him for a while and he kept droppin the clutch and peeling out as he was driving along. We pull up to a red light and I glance over at him and smile. I gave her a short rev and giggled. He revved back and his girl looked at me like I was stupid and she didn't really want me to egg him on. We were both kind of laughing. Light goes green and we punch it. Funny thing is, the roads are slippery as fück and this dude just nailed the gas. So I take off and he's left behind spinning the tires for ever. Once he realized what was happening he fixed the problem and zipped by me. Then we just kinda cruised along side each other for a while until I slid out of sight. What a SWEET car! You can rent all sorts of cars like that at this place around here. Lamborghinis and vipers and things...I may have to rent one someday.

You need to call the county up to clean up the oil on those roads cuz you shouldn't be sliding out of sight like that.. only elite drifters don't do dumb things like that....

One time I had a guy in a new corvette ZO6 pull up beside me on my bike and rev his engine. He had his girl in there with him (I assume) and she was grinning like a jackass. I thought "Is this guy serious?" I wouldn't do nothing at first because the area was over run with police all the time, even though it was really getting to me. But he persisted, so the next time he hit it we were doing about 70 I let him pull off a few car lengths then I popped it up and stood up on it, pulled up next to him on the back tire as he was trying to get away for a sec then pulled on off. I put it back down about 120 and waited for him to come back. His girl was lauphing at him. I'll never forget it, It was sooooo sweet, I couldn't believe this guy thought he could compete.:alcoholic

He is obviously being satirical about the lameness of drifting.

i think drifting is great, its alot of fun and safe when done in a controlled environment. I've been to several events held at english town and its a great community to hang out with.

I dont really have an opinion of drifting aside from I dont think it is racing, it appears to be more for fun purposes to me.

your 100% correct, well for the most part, there are compititions out west but most people do it just for fun.

I once rented a 2002 Dodge Viper GTS. $399 for 24 hours. $1 a mile over the initial 100 free ones. I went 184 miles. Filled up twice. Had to pay a 125 dollar under 25yr. old Insurance fee. Total cost about 632 dollars. It was awesome!! It could hit 130mph in 3rd gear. Took to a max of 159 mph in 4th at 5800 rpm (got scared let off, but it was still pulling). Best $632 I ever spent. The ferrari modena is next. Only $800 for a day!!!btw that thing had 335/35zr18's on the back. do not believe the hype that car can hang. Omg!!!

One of my freinds back home always gets a corvette ZO6 to drive around for a day for his birthdays. I wish my parents gave me presents like that.
