KA motor S14 chassisWell i just purchased a Peak Performance "Race" transmission mount...I anticipated some vibration...BUT NOT THIS MUCH.It could also be because i've never been in a car with a very hard transmission mount. The car vibrates under throttle when in gear alot....its almost scary because im starting to think it may cause more problems than good. How long is the "break in" period for these transmission mounts?Anyone else have experience with Racing transmission mounts? any tips?

Thanks

don't expect it to get much better if anything...its a race mount. Should have went new stock or nismo's.

So would the Peak Performance "Street" be similar in terms of vibration? Cause i would consider trading in mine for that one? Input is critical....thanks for the feedback guys

Umm, isn't that a solid mount? I'm pretty sure rubber absorbs energy better than metal.

weaksauce!! j/k The peak streets are much better from what I'm told, if you want less vibration. Nismo is fine though I had it at one point. NEVER go with polyeurthane mounts filled/race solid aftermarket then. I have installed poly. filled last weekend..my car front end, steering wheel shakes at idle.
