I got one to share, 2 weeks after I dropped in my SR. Going to my sisters house when I came pass the Audi Dealership, I notice in front of me two audi's brand new and still have the white stickers on the body panels. Both at the red light and reving at each other. When the light turned green, they took off squeeling. Next light, same thing, reving at each other, now I'm directly behind them waiting for the light to turn green. Lights turn green, guy in my lane missed shift, Made a quick right to the next lane catching up the other audi and killed him, until my damn limiter kicks in... DOH....

So we had my great aunt and uncle over for Christmas tonight and we were talking about cars when he related to me the following story. It is a true story about him when he was a 20-something. I'll tell it from his perspective...."So back in 1991 I had a nice, new 240sx. I loved that car and man it was fast. The only problem was that I wasn't supposed to be driving it because I had my license suspended for 3 moving violations. Anyway, my buddy and I were at my parents' house before we had to go to an army national guard meeting. He had a 58 Chevy at the time and thought it was the greatest car ever made. He hopped in his Chevy and sped off. I went out to the 240sx about 2 minutes later and, stupidly, said to myself, 'I'm gonna catch him'. So I hopped in the 240sx, dropped the hammer and put the pedal to the metal. I got on the highway and couldn't even see the speedometer needle I was going so fast. It was way past 160mph. All of a sudden, I come up over a hill and see a highway patrolman running radar. At this point I was debating whether I should just keep going or whether I should stop. I had decided I was going to stop but, by the time I decided, I was way past the patrolman and a second officer was waving at me to stop. Now I was past stopping. I kept my foot on the floor and sped off. I got off on West Street at about 90mph, went through the back roads and dark neighborhoods and pulled up to the national guard office. Another friend had his pickup there so I told him to open the bed up. We took off my red hardtop and threw it in the pickup bed and put a blanket over it. I put up my white softtop and ran inside. Throughout the meeting my heart was racing when, in walks a highway patrolman. I about died when I saw him. He walks right in and goes into our main office. At this point I was wondering if I should just give myself up, flee to Mexico, or what. As we started to do drills I was sweating bullets and was ghost white. My friend who I had been chasing...and caught I should add...asked me what was wrong and I told him. He started laughing and said I had nothing to worry about and that the patrolman was in the national guard too. He was just here for a meeting. I was so relieved. After the meeting I drove out of town, up north to Clearwater and west for 50 miles before heading down south to my parents' farm. I drove up to the barn, turned out the lights, parked the 240sx in the barn and covered it up. I walked from there to the house. For the next month I drove the family pickup everywhere, not even taking the 240sx out of the barn and, thankfully, nothing happened."

It gets better...

"About 7 years later I was visiting my mom in the hospital because she had a stroke. As I was walking down the hall I heard a voice yell, "Don". I turned around and saw my dad who called me over saying he had someone who wanted to talk to me. I was then introduced to a man who was visiting his mother too. We talked for awhile and then he said he wasn't the one who wanted to talk to me. He told me to go into the room he and my dad were standing by, so I did. I went in and said, 'Why, hello Office Whitehead'. He and I had had a few run-ins before. I asked him why he was in the hospital and he told me he was having heart trouble. I asked him why he wanted to see me and he said this: 'Son, I wanted to let you know that that night on the turnpike 7 years ago, we KNEW it was you. We just couldn't prove it. You were going 178 miles an hour. We had officers by your farm waiting for you and that 240sx all night.' So then I had to explain everything to my dad, who was pretty ticked."

How crazy is that story? I really want a 240sxe now. Ah to be young in the 90s and 00s.

I don't get into too many races the only thing I toy with are the local DSMs and the occasional galant VR-4. My last race was against a galant VR-4 from a roll because I would get killed off the line. We were crusing at midnight down a main street ironically named Main Street. We started at about 10ish and went to just over 100 then I shut off. He was at my rear bumper until about 75 then I pulled a car and a half after that. When I shut down at 100 he flew by on a ricer fly by. Turns out he was running 15psi on 550cc injectors and a chipped ecu, It looked like he was running a tad rich.

This was done with a 91GSX and not a 240SX...sorry guys.

So, I am in Davenport Iowa at the time, driving down 53rd Ave. I come to a light and a red Grand Prix turbo pulls up next to me. He starts reving. Well, I have my 2 year old son in the car, not about to do that. He takes off from the light like a bat outta hell. He waits for me at the next red light, rolls down his window and say, "How does it feel to be schooled by an american car?" I say back, "Meet me at the Hardees on the corner of Brady and 53rd in 30 min, I have to drop my son off cause I am not racing with him in the car." He agrees and I head for home, drop of my son, and head back to Hardees. When I get there, a couple friend of mine are there, and shortly after that, he pulls in. We decide were to go for the race, and we head out to a dark stretch of two lane outside of town. Find a red light, line up, and get ready. As the light turns green, I rev to 4500 and slip the clutch, launching the car somewhat sideways (ACT2600 w/st. disk), and nail second. He is right about my rear bumper. Take second to 6500 and hit third and pull clean away from him. I let off, and he flys by me probably doing well over 90. He slows down and now wants to go from a roll. OK...I slow to a crawl, and get down into first gear, and roll about 10mph. He goes, and starts to pull on me, till I hit 16lbs on the turbo. Good nite Pontiac. So much for getting schooled by an american car huh?

2 months later, I am driving my friends debaged 96 Cobra, and guess who I see? The red turbo Grand Prix, so my friend tells me to hose him, which I do with ease.

We pull into an empty lot, and he follows us in. As we get out of the car, I ask him if he rememberd racing a white GSX about 2 months ago. He says yes. So, I say to him..."I thought you were gonna school me with that american car of yours."

He just smiled and said he was sorry for coming across like a jerk.

Shortly after that, he blew his turbo at the 1/4 track...no more Pontiac.

No... Actually I'm 21 just had the caps on by accident and didn't happen to look up until it was posted. I just don't seem to find many people that actually race their 240 and have a story about it.

My only kill story was when I completely killed a maxima in my corolla, don't know exactly what year, think later 90's. My corolla was a completely stock, automatic '97. T-boned the maxima on the passenger side.

In all fairness, I ended up ahead of her after the crash... Go ahead jdm, I like a good fight, I don't mind losing as long as it's fun. Though if you touch my car, I will kill you, in the nicest most passionate way of course

I'll post one of my few race stories even though most won't believe me.

I was on the freeway going to school one day when I see an S2000 with a body kit comin up. It was some asian guy in a black S2000 with a full body kit, rims, and what looked like a titanium dual exhaust. Oh, he also had his top down.

I was crusin in 5th at about 75mph and he got in front of me. Then, all of a sudden I saw the rear end of his car squat down, and a lot of black smoke started coming out the back. So, I pretty much figured he downshifted so I left it in 5th and just floored it.

Now a little backround on my car. Totally stock, but it has been driven nearly all of it's miles on the freeway in 5th gear. And most of you know freeway miles are very easy on the motor. My 5th gear has a lot of pull. My KA is very healthy, and most people who get into my car for the first time think I have an after market exhaust, no lie.

Now back to the story. So, I floor it and to my suprise I stay right ON HIS TAIL. I take the speedo to 120 (with no fuel cutt btw, I have no clue why) and then I let off and so did he. I came up to his side and he smiled and gave me a big thumbs up as did I to him. Don't ask me how, it's just the super KA. Most of you won't believe me, but I promise you it happened. But, I doubt I'll ever do it again because it was my first time going over 100mph and I realized afterward how OWNED I could have been if a cop saw me.

Well as long as you skidded across the finish line in front of the other crash victim.

And yes, we won the election back in November, but those butt head Democrates and Republicans worked to gether to keep us from our rightfull position in the White House. But it's okay. We have taken over the internet, and are moving to over take the world. World domonation has been NICO's primary goal sinch the infamous Hitman took over.

I think he means they crashed.

It is physically impossible for a Corrolla to slaughter a Max. Unless the driver of the Max has his foot on the brake, or forgets to let the clutch out.

Yeah it wasn't really a slaughter, both cars were erally messed up. My license plate was stuck between her doors after the crash. Was funny afterwords till I had to pay the repair bill on my car. In the end I was only about 10 feet ahead of her.

It was completely my fault, insurance paid her car off, obviously that means I slowly and painfully pay that off through higher insurance, though I got kind of lucky. I had to pay my $1000 deductible but some chick hit me in a parking lot while I was at work, so after that got fixed up they fixed part of the original crash which saved me some money too.

It's easy to take me down on the road. Just throw a cat out the window and I'll be like, ooohhh kitty (yay for add) and then crash into a pole.
