Race seats?

Has anyone replaced their OEM seats with after market seats?I do like the OEM leather seats, with their diffrent positions, but I like the feel of a race seat their more form fitted, and minamize a persons body movement in the corners. Here's one of the brands Im looking at buying.

you have to ask yourself, when is it a luxury car and when is it a race car.. just so you know, anything that bolts into the Z32 300XZ or S14 240sx will bolt into the Q.. Ive seen racing seats in the Q and personally, id put in some G35 coupe seats because they would be comfortable and provide more support than the Q seats.

I am with Wes. Besides, never seen a race seat with a powered head rest.

A G50 is not a two seat sports car.

i thought racing seats only came in god-awful bright colors so as to scream "look at me i have racing seats!!"

black leather ones would look pretty classy

I would get racing seats as part of an overall vehicle lightening program. The stock seats are crazy heavy (~80 lbs each). Most racing seats are going to be less than 30 lbs each.

If you are looking for more support, you could have the stock seats modified at an upholstery shop.

Ive thought about doing that.. have the side bolsters built up a tiny bit more and more lower lumbar support......

The picture I presented was an example, their are all kinds of race seats.Very nice leather race seats are available. Also the wieght reduction is a good point, for example the Corbeau A4 weighs only 25 pounds.I still enjoy the ease of adjusting my OEM chair, many positions & the two memory selections are great. Here is a more luxury style, that is all leather with limited lifetime warranty.

He is probably dreaming of going to Seattle International Raceway to test the G-force when he gets new seats! I've seen MB E55 with Recaro red-on-black leather race seats inside a black car it looks killer!

No Im not dreaming of doing a G force test , farfetched. My OEM seats are starting to crack,Thats why Im looking for aftermarket seats.

I had Recaro seats in my old '82 2WD chevy Blazer I had about 12 years ago. I loved those seats. Friends and familiy that were on the larger side didn't like them tho, you needed a shoe horn to get them in and out!

ummm i'm pretty sure 240sx and 300zx seats are not interchangeable but I could be mistaken. S13 and S14 are interchangeable with each other, but not sure if it is with a z32... so if a z32 will fit then you can get brackets easy, if s14/13 fit then im putting q45 seats in my 240
