This thread is for listing our little Versa's accomplishments in races. Because we own compact cars, people sneer at us when we talk about anything performance. Well lets show them we mean business!

Post your list of vehicles beaten with your Versa and beside them list any known or suspected mods to opponent vehicle:

Dodge Dakota 01' V8
Honda Civic 98' 1.5L Cold air intake
Mitsubishi Eclipse 07'-10'
Chevy Cobalt 05' 2.4L manual
(Most recently, and I still can't believe it :mike ): Chevy Silverado 03' 4.3L-5.7L V8 2500

Well yes of course there are cars that have lower statistics than the Versa, but the point of this thread is to list proven battles between modded and unmodded Versas and other modded and unmodded cars. Certain factors come into play when you go from the papers to the streets. A victory on the dyno is nothing compared to laying the rubber in an opponents face as you strip them of their pride

Who apparently is just like me..because I agree, the hood scoop looks stupid

I understand you like your car, but people laugh at you when they pass you by, i'm sure

As for cars i've beat, none. The Versa is slow. The other drivers must have let you win. A Toyota Corolla rental I had the other day is faster.

I guess it all depends on the driver. I've beaten Corolla's and Civics easily. Don't know why you can't :gapteeth:

I agree with them the hood scoop is kind of lame/pointless, but no reason on putting him down. We shall support each other as Versa owners as noone else will, atleast for right now :).

Now lets not all get butt-hurt because we all don't know how to drive. I'm sure the rest of us who can't even pull on a corolla using the same car others do while succeeding are good at other things besides driving. Like pointlessly trolling a car site with nothing better to do besides put people down for their own expressions of art and tell them that art doesn't create HP. Well no s*** it doesn't create HP, how long did it take you to figure that one out? I put it on there because I liked the way it looked. If I wanted to modify my car exactly the way you wanted it, I would have asked you please oh please to tell me what you like.

Trolling? Noob please, i've been around here a lot longer than you have.

Regardless, do whatever you want to your car. Put a hood scoop on top of your hood scoop. Just understand that if you post pictures of your car on the internet, people will comment, good or bad. Don't expect everyone to cup your balls and tell you your car looks good.

Noob? Ha, I know more about cars than you ever will. Join date means nothing. I suppose then you're one of those people that goes around and insults everything they don't like because they think for some reason your opinion is valued. I've got news. No one wants to hear your crap. So do us all a favor and if you don't like something keep it to yourself

Thats a pretty bold statement coming from someone who has a hood scoop on his Versa. Please, educate me on the benefits of your hood scoop.

In any case, do what you want. I just hope you don't plow into a family van or a group of kids walking home from school when you race these cars, Blue_street_racer.

Who says it has to have a benefit? What the hell is the benefit of headlight tinting or rims? Its cosmetic stupid. If I like the look of it I'll put it on my car. Like I said, you aren't important to me in my decisions of what I do to the things I own so you can piss off. And who are you to criticize me on my racing? I race on empty streets and abandoned country roads. Way to make a bold assumption with no information. Seems you're here only to force your opinion down other people throats. Well I'm not swallowing your bullsh*t. You can take your opinions to someone who cares about what you think. I posted this forum for people who want to try new things with their cars. If that's not for you and you want to do something else or use a different car then find that forum.

Ouch that hurt. lol. at least you didn't say anything bout vortekz generators. They add at least 200hp to my car.

bigger wheels often means more rubber, which means more traction.
lighter wheels are easier to turn (less common)
Blue_street_racer wrote:I race on empty streets and abandoned country roads.

this doesnt matter one bit.

and why is this in the engine/drivetrain forum?
