R51 front caliper upgrade to Z33 Brembo?

I've seen it before and can't rememer where and nothing comes up on GOOGLE. I saw a R51 Pathy with Z33 Brembo calipers on the front. I wonder if this would be a simple bolt-on upgrade, if so that would be sweeeet

i doubt it would be a simple install. the R51 uses floating calipers and the Z33 uses fixed calipers. you would need to change out the caliper mount and i don't think Nissan designed any interchangeability into them, considering they're on completely different platforms.

apart from getting the calipers themselves to simply fit, you'd have issues with your master cylinder and its effective braking capacity. a R51 uses a 2-piston caliper and the Z33 Brembo uses 4 pistons. the larger fluid capacity of the Z33 would give your R51 a very deep and soft pedal feel. you'd probably have to upgrade your master cylinder and/or brake booster to match it to the capacity of the Brembo calipers.

they are "Brembo Caliper Covers" that simply glue onto the body of your existing caliper to give the look of actual Brembo calipers.

the ebay thing is pretty cool i guess, really ricer and poser tho, but then again whoose going to look at them and be like oh noes fake brembos lol. and i guess if you have good slotted rotors and good pads its not really too poser at all.

I found it on cardomain.... looks fake to me, I didn't know they made fake caliper covers, what a pointless "upgrade". I'm totally disapointed I got my hopes up for nothing. It would be nice if there was a cheap upgrade (besides better pads) for the front of the R51.
