i have been unable to locate any aftermarket replacement air intake. does anyone know of a place.

I am trying to fix my cracked elbow. the elbow that meets the throttle body has a crack and it needs to be replaced, however i am unable to locate this anywhere.

I have also noticed that the tube between the elbow, to the air box is squished like an oval. that's crap.

so i need an elbow and a pipe that would replace the plastic tube, any suggestions or pre-made intake like this?

perhaps a simple spectre elbow and a silicone coupler would be the easiest route.

if you have a junk yard or a pick and pull near your place, you could call them up and see if they have a r50 in their yards, if they do you can just take it off for a small price i think.

Dont like the Weapon R. Make one out of Spectre intake parts. I will look for the link where I supplied part no's etc.

Here ya go VG:

QTY 1 #8751 Coupler/Reducer 3”-2.5” Black (http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.8751)

QTY 1 #8738 45° Elbow 3” Chrome (http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.8738)

QTY 1 #8698 90° Elbow 3” Chrome (http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.8698)

QTY 1 #8771 Coupler/Reducer 3”-3” Black (http://www.spectreperformance.com/#CATALOG.8771)

These are the parts in order from throttle body to MAF Sensor. The two coupler/reducers listed are for the color option of Black, but they also come in Red and Blue. Below are the part numbers listed that you will need for the vacuum lines.

Will see if I can find some pics. My Nissan Mechanic liked it and he owns a 98 Pathfinder.

VG sorry for late response. You would probably need different part no's to make it fit with stock box. I didnt try it as I have had the Jim Wolf Pop Charger for about 8 or 9 years.

Re: where to buy: Pepboys, Autozone, AdvanceAuto, or Amazon. They all have slightly different parts. I went to so many different places I couldnt say where I got them. Probably some from each. The good part is you can buy a number of different ones and return what you dont need.
