r50 pathy trans issue

hey guys my 97 pathy (2wd) is starting to have a problem, while driving its like the trans randomly downshifts out of overdrive to a lower gear then goes back to OD, on a rare occasion itll drop down two gears, it doesnt seem like its slipping just changing to a different gear for a second or two then back to OD, any ideas on what this is? or how to fix the problem?

Im planning on doin just that after work today. is than any kind of solenoid that could be going bad that controls the OD?
