Is there some sort of conversion that needs to be done to the front axle or transfer case in order to install manual hubs on my truck, or can I just buy the hubs and swap em in?
Any helps appreciated!

They are a direct swap.

you just need to directly swap em. Also the kit probably comes with extra long studs to replace the stock ones but some people dont swap em as they are a pain to do.

hammer/pry out your stock hub cap, take our the retaining ring, unbolt and remove the "always engaged" hub (there are 6 nuts i think), put in the warn hub, bolt it down, put in the retaining ring ( i reused mine). Youre done! a couple members here have done it without even removing their wheel, but i find that it helps.

monkeyprince nailed it.

But i installed mine just sitting on the ground. Unless you have non-removeable center caps, there should be no need to remove the wheels. That's adding a whole lot of unnecessary work to an otherwise easy job.
