Just found some pictures to clarify the differences between the Neo DE & Neo DET heads from the R34 RB25. I had run into an issue with purchasing the wrong cylinder head during my build, and just want to help inform others.

Here are some pics to show the different sized and shaped intake manifold ports. This is why you cant use the DET intake mani on the DE head.

This is the DE intake mani with DET gasket



DET ports are larger, extra notch

The head is at HRT in durham being welded. Should have it back in two weeks.

Thanks for posting it up man. I guess the Neo's are different from the non-neo RB25's when it comes to the n/a and turbo heads (n/a's have the same casting as turbo's for non-neo R33 RB25 heads for anybody who didn't know). Did you ever find out the casting numbers?

Glad to hear about the other head getting fixed up. Maybe I'll come out of my girlfriend induced hiding here in a week or so and get my butt down there to see the progress.
