r34 neo rb transmission question

i was saving this for the last resort...but, i got my motor lifted up with a hoist today, ready to take the transmission off to mount the motor on a stand...

i've changed a clutch or 2 before but when took the trans bolts off and pulled on it it'll move about an inch and stop, the transmission will actually spin all the way around the input shaft 360 degrees...but won't come off..

i didn't yank it too much but i've NEVER had a transmission not come sliding off with the bolts off. so my question

Could the newer rb's (r34 neo's in my case) transmissions have a retaining clip or something holding it up?

anyone ever had this problem let me know asap, i won't have the hoist for too long...thx

figured it out

i have a pull type clutch with a retaining clip on the clutch fork

yay!...more fun
