R34 hood lip?? Need help!!

Need to pick your brains for a minute...

When I bought my car, the stock and carbon fiber hoods do not line up with the top of the bumper...I mean, they are inches off...this is not an adjustment issue!

It looks as if there was a hood lip piece that should be availabe...probably with the body kit that's on the car. There were small screw holes under the factory hood that lead me to believe something was on there.

If anyone knows where I can buy this piece (if it exists), I would greatly appreciate it. I can fabricate somthing myself, but I would prefer to do it the "proper" way...plus it's driving me nuts.

Rich, I tried searching for you and Ross. The only think I can think of is the front bumper. I've seen on of your old pics t=with the CF hood on it had the lip, but the NISMO and stock bumper on the center grill comes all the way up and meets with the edge of the hood.

I'll ask my guys again and see if he came up with anything new.

Thanks John, I appreciate it. I may end up just making something out of fiberglass...we'll see.

I am also looking for some carbon fiber parts. My Evo came from Japan with a full carbon fiber dash board, and interior CF door panels. I would love the same look for my 34. I am also interested in CF fenders and a trunk lid...let me know if you come up with anything.
