Is the rear fender on the GTR R34 bigger then the Rear fender on the GTT R34. cant really find anything saying if its bigger. it looks bigger in some pics but in others it doesnt. or is it that the nismo edition GTT has bigger fenders then the normal GTT R34

Hey man, you need to enable your private messages to receive them. I got your message, but I can't send to you...so here is my reply.

If you're gonna go with a wrecked BNR34, you can probably get them for less than 15k. Depends on what you want to do with it also. I am not sure how the laws work on cars that have been wrecked. Don't know if you can fix them and have them registered again or not.

My brother-in-law's ex-wife went head on into a concrete wall at about 30km/h a couple weeks ago and the insurance company wrote the car off as a total loss, then had the car crushed.

Damage was repairable even though the air bag deployed. No damage to the frame, either.

So, yeah. Might want to find out about that first. But yeah, if you can find a good auction company, you could probably get what you want through them. Hell, a non wrecked one would be decently cheap as well.

Sweet, I knew you could atleast answer my question. So, you really think I could get lucky and score an R34 GTR for 15k or less? Because I really don't mind if it has high miles and damage, I just want one even if I have to make repairs. I really don't want to go down the GTT road and do all the body converion to get that look, but if I have to I will. It's just that my wife has me on a 15k leash and I can't spend more than that for the car.

15K for a GT-R might be a bit of a stretch for an R34 now that I have done some looking. But, you might still want to try the auction route. Might be able to find one 1999 for around that. Believe me, I know about the money limit.

Keep your eyes on the Goo-Net English page and also Yahoo auctions.
